Create your Chatbot

Supportfast allows you to create multiple chatbots, each customizable according to the specific needs of your company or project. Each chatbot is an autonomous entity, with its own scope and clearly defined operational goal.

It’s important to know that you can create different chatbots even within the same general scope, each with distinct functions. For example, for the same company you can create:

  • A chatbot dedicated to customer care for external clients
  • A second chatbot for internal technical support for employees

The number of chatbots you can create in your account depends on your Subscription Plan and any purchased Add-ons.

Only users with the Owner or Admin role can access the chatbot creation page. The button to create a new chatbot is not visible to users with lower permissions.

From the Supportfast Home Page, click the “Create Chatbot” button.

You will be redirected to the initial configuration page, where you will be asked to fill in two key fields:

  • Business Name: indicates the general context to which the chatbot belongs. It can be the name of the company, a product, a document, or an operational environment.
  • Business Scope: describes which topics the chatbot is allowed to respond to. It must be consistent with the name provided above.

The entered name will be used as the internal identifier for your chatbot, helping you distinguish it from others in your account.

These two fields will be merged into a single contextual description: the Scope of your chatbot. This scope can later be referenced using the variable {{scope}}, and can also be edited from the Playground, in the START node settings.

  • Chatbot per un manuale tecnico

    Business Scope: provide instructions for configuring the XYZ air conditioner
  • Chatbot for support on an online service
    Business Name: Software XYZ
    Business Scope: guide users in using Software XYZ
  • Chatbot for a dental clinic
    Business Name: Dr. Rossi’s Dental Clinic
    Business Scope: provide information and manage appointments for the dental clinic
